This report describes the network’s third peer learning visit to Malta which took place in April 2014, and focuses on the Core Curriculum Programme which uses a competence-based approach to improve the learning of low achievers. The peer learning visit was hosted by the Maltese Ministry of Education and Employment and included debriefing sessions as well as a visit to schools and the Maltese National Curriculum Centre. (see full report).
