Competence based teaching and learning in practice

11 April 2014 (17:00 CET): How to design and assess learning activities fostering a competence-based approach. 

Katerina Riviou from the Greek school, Ellinogermaniki Agogi, will illustrate how to design and assess learning activities fostering a competence-based approach, with an emphasis on project-based learning and authentic means of assessment. The methods that will be discussed have been developed and are currently being tested in the European project TRANSIt: TRANSversal key competences for life-long learning: TraIning teachers in competence based education project (http://www.transit-project.eu), funded with support from the European Commission.
